What we do
For over 3 years, Child Cancer Foundation has stood by ensuring that every family going through childhood cancer in the world has someone there to support them at a time when they need it most.
We are there, every step of the way.
While medical staff do an incredible job treating the child, families often need emotional and practical support beyond what doctors and nurses are able to give. That’s why we ensure that each newly diagnosed family has a dedicated Family Support Coordinator, who is there to provide them with the specific help they need, every step of the way.
Promote Access to Healthcare For Children
When you make a donation to the Cancer Kids Fund, you make life easier for patients by:
- Boosting their care team with psychologists, nutritionists, music therapists and child life specialists
- Comforting them throughout treatment with massage and aromatherapy
- Arranging visits from special guests like the Zoomobile and the Science Museum of Minnesota and celebrations like end-of-therapy parties
- Making sure kids have art supplies, toys and games to keep them smiling
Keep Kids Healthy and Ready to Learn
You help parents and families cope by:
- Providing chaplains, interpreters and social workers
- Covering their expenses, such as parking and meals
- Giving siblings a place to play while staying close
- Making overnight stays more comfortable

Children’s cancer and blood disorders program treats more than 55% of children diagnosed with cancer or a blood disorder in Minnesota. Our program delivers some of the best survival rates among leading U.S. Children’s hospitals treating patients with cancer and blood disorders.

Door Knocking Scam
We have received a few reports from people who have had someone show up at their door claiming to be from Child Cancer Foundation and asking for a donation. Please be aware that this is likely to be a scam – we do not have any representatives of Child Cancer Foundation undertaking door-to-door collections, nor have we endorsed any third parties to do so on our behalf.
If you are suspicious of someone claiming to be collecting money for Child Cancer Foundation or fundraising on our behalf, don’t feel pressured to make a quick decision. Please feel free to send a mail to contact@cancerkidsfoundation.org so our team can help you identify if they are legitimate or not.
